The GT Super Sprint Challenge, abbreviated as GTSSC, is a newly established GT challenge event that includes three categories: GT3, GT4, and GTC. It will officially kick off in 2021. GTSSC is designed for non professional drivers who want to participate in GT events with professional level operation and management, and only accepts registrations from gentleman drivers. The series has a total of five races throughout the year, with most of the races competing alongside top domestic events CTCC and TCR China. Each race consists of two rounds of short distance challenges, each lasting 27 minutes, held on the domestic FIA Level 1 and Level 2 tracks.
The official tire supplier for the GT Short Range Series is Pirelli, and the organizer is Shanghai Qingsu Racing Planning Co., Ltd., which has hosted and participated in numerous professional international events in Asia.
