The Private Wealth Manager (PWM) professional qualification is a certification mark that distinguishes and measures the professional knowledge, skills, experience, and ethical standards of professional wealth managers. PWM is established to meet the development needs of the global economy and society, representing the international level of professional competence assessment in the field of private wealth management. As the "gold standard" for private wealth management, PWM has established a set of professional evaluation standards with a comprehensive curriculum, training system, and assessment system, which is a proof of knowledge, experience, and ability for professionals engaged in wealth management.
As a new professional (occupational) standard, the Personal Wealth Manager (PWM) Professional Ability Assessment is developed and organized by Goldman Sachs Boya School of Law and Business, responsible for the curriculum system and training assessment. The International Certification Association provides assessment score recognition and certificate issuance. A jointly launched professional competence assessment system in the field of private wealth management, which is innovative, practical, and applicable. It is currently the only professional competence evaluation standard for private wealth management professionals in China, with a comprehensive examination and certification management system.
The Private Wealth Manager Certification Standards Committee (PWMCC) is an unincorporated professional organization authorized by the International Certification Association (IPA) to establish Goldman Sachs Boya (Beijing) Information Consulting Co., Ltd. in China, under the management and business guidance of IPA Beijing Representative Office, responsible for the operation and management of the Private Wealth Manager (PWM) professional competence assessment project in China. At the same time, PWMCC was commissioned by IPA Beijing Representative Office to establish the PWM Certification Textbook Guidance Committee and PWM China Expert Committee, responsible for updating the knowledge system and providing professional technical support for the Personal Wealth Management Professional (PWM) Professional Ability Assessment Project in China. The PWM Standards Committee owns exclusive intellectual property rights for trademarks, letters, and related graphics such as "Private Wealth Manager", "PWM", "SPWM", "IPWM", "PWMC", "SPWMC", "Family Wealth Manager", "FWM", "SFWM", and "IFWM".
The International Professional Certification Association (IPA) is an international association organization registered and accredited by the Chinese Embassy in the United States and signed by the US State Department. It is registered and filed as an international certification body in Beijing in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Domestic Activities of Overseas Non Governmental Organizations.
